Probably pretty damn optimal under those conditions. <br /><br />Your right, throw the time goal away and go for place. You are way up there in the results.<br /><br />What I especially liked was you weren&#39;t overly concern if the miles were 10 -20 seconds apart. That just throws some people for some reason. Just run by effort and conditions and it will work out. It takes very few miles in the heat of forcing the pace to blow it. If you have it at the end then great.
